I am Dawn from Philippines and engaged to my fiancee and we had a daughter who is 2 years old on January 18,2008.My fiancee(my daughter DAD) has sent the K1 petition last 27th of December 2008.I just want to ask this question: Can our daughter can come with me when the K1 is approve?I hope some of you who are concern to this question can give me an answer.Thanks a lot and God Bless you all.

Isn't your daughter a USC since her Father is the USC petitioning you. You need to apply for a US Passport for your Daughter.

Ok im quite confused here , i want to ask is ur fiancee here in US is what filipino or american ? coz if he is american u can try to apply for american passport since ur daughter dad is citizen , now if filipino i dont have knowledge about that , but about ur question yes she can come with u as long ur fiancee include her in the form 129F , the K1 visa has derivative they called as K2 , this for the children who is age under 18yrs old . hope i did answer some of ur question. If the father of the child is a USC and the father have stayed in the US for more than 5yrs..

Yes the father can acknowledge the child to be automatically USC.. But you have to apply that from the USEM Manila.

You have to show proof of the father being in the Philippines on the time the child was conceive.

YES EVERYBODY IS RIGHT IF YOUR FIANCE IS USC ALREADY WHEN U GIVE BIRTH YOUR DAUGHTER IS AUTOMATIC US CITIZEN,IN MY CASE WE HAVE A SON IM K1 AND I REPORT BIRTH OF MY SON AT THE US EMBASSY AND APPLY US PASSPORT FOR HIM,THEY REQUEST DNA FOR MY FIANCE AND MY SON,MY SON PASSPORT IS ON PROCESS NOW ,WE CAN GET IT THIS JAN.IF U WANT MORE INFO JUS SEND A MESSAGE,I WILL HELP IF I CAN.
