Hi,

I know there are lists around here and the whole internet which tells you what you need for the interview, but i'm just going to list everything i have for my interview, and maybe someone can tell me if i need more, less, or everything i have is ok?

It's for a CR-1 Visa, I have known my wife for 7 1/2 years, married for 1 & 1/2 years.

She works in Los Angeles, I have been apart from her, waiting here for, what will be at the time of interview, 7 months!

Heres what i have:-

-Copies of passports (mine and wife's) and Original - OF COURSE!

-Copy of Birth Cert. - Sent original to NVC (now should be at Embassy)

-Copy of Police Cert - Sent original to NVC (now at Embassy)

-Copy of Marriage Cert - Sent Original to NVC (now at Embassy)

-U.S. Visa Size Photos (4 of them) (2 / 2 inches)

-Letter from NVC stating interview date, with instructions etc...

Proof of relationship

-Many photos printed onto a couple of sheets of paper of my wife and I spanning the last 7 years, plus a couple of original photos from a few years ago.

-A few emails from a a couple of years ago, and emails from 3 months ago.

-Couple of letters from my wife, and one i wrote to her a year or two ago.

Proof of having lived together, before she went to U.S.

-Bank statement, with both our names on it, and old address.

-Water Bill, both names on it, and our old address.

Proof of my address now

-Utiility Bills

Financial Proof. - She has no tax return from previous years, so i'm taking another affidavit to interview with me so we can add a joint sponsor! (Joint Sponsor is her mother, who has a job, makes more than enough, and has set me all tax returns from last 3 years, including pay stubs to prove she still works there.

-Letter from wifes employer

-Pay stubs from wifes employer

-W-2's from a few years ago (no that that should really help, but im being careful)

Thats it as far as all the documents im taking. The one thing im worried about is the financial stuff, or that maybe at the interview, they won't except a late affidavit of support from a joint sponsor.

Any advice? more documents needed? am i taking too many?

Thank You, and good luck to anyone who has an interview coming up soon!
