I'm just now seeing this thread - I loved the piccys!!

I'm glad she didn't have to have surgery, though I hate that she had to go under and is loopy now! But oh well.

Get this - a coworker of mine took a new stray to be spayed and etc. - she drops her off at the vet, they call her as they are getting ready for surgery and tell her that she kitty was in fact a HE kitty. (They snipped him, naturally!)

She's had cats her whole life so she felt kind of stupid to say the least!

TY Trace...I was actually wondering if Mimi might be a boy with no balls, heh. When she first came around, I expected the anatomy like a dog, so when there was nowt down there, I was all  So there's me lookin at cat butt diagrams on the net. But when they said last mos she wasn't spayed, I kept wondering whether she was a boy since she never got preggo.

So I fig'd if that was the case, I'd have to change her name to 'moo moo' Similar, but not a girl name.

It is rather sucky that they gooned her up so much...I wound up having to pay like 50 bucks for all the pain meds and whatnot. She looks so out of it right now, it's breaking my heart.

Well, that was lucky Lisa! She is such a cutie!! And I finally figured out how to post pics, so I posted one of my new kitty in my cat thread! (Proud new mama, lolz)

Yay! going to check now!!!

Edit to change a  into a

Good to hear that all is well with Mimi, Lisa! I hear ya about the looped up after anesthetic though. When poor Jenny was spayed my Mom spent hours just rocking her while she came out of it. Calvin rebounded faster - probably because he got neutered and wasn't as heavily sedated - but even he was a bit groggy for awhile.

And mean apparently. When I went to pick him up after his surgery the vet tech went into the back to get him. About 20 minutes later, after I finally asked where he was, the tech came back out and said, "Are you Calvin's Mom?" I said yes and the tech was like, "Umm, can you come and help us get him into his carrier. He's mean." Now, Calvin hadn't so much as hissed at me or Derek but I said OK, went ino the back area and sure nuff he was crouched in the back of the cage just glaring out. Or as much as he could glare without falling over. But as soon as I called his name, he came over and said, "Take me home woman!" Or at least that was how I interpreted it!

agreed. can we get some more pics lisa?

Awww ty! And to answer your question Lizzie, YES she could!

I have to upload the pics I took off my phone last night, omG what a CUTIE!

She had a wierd night....v stoned! hahahah This morning, she went downstairs, and I opened the door and she bolted out...she started running around, rolling on her back, etc. So I think she's better now. It's currently like 31 degrees here, and I'm a little concerned about her not having any belly hair, but I guess if she wants to come back in, she will.

Thanks guys for all your help & support! I was so freaked out yesterday!

I'll upload the pics when I get home
