Hey I really hope someone can answer my question here. So we did our first biometrics on 12/3/07. There are touches on 12/3, 12/4 and 12/14 for AOS and EAD. However we received another biometric appointment (code 1) for AOS scheduled on 1/3/08 as fbi couldnt read the fingerprint. We went ahead and did the biometric early on 12/19/07. I checked the case status online but it has no touch since the 12/14. I thought they are usually a touch right after the biometric. Whats going on? Should I schedule an infopass and ask? Please help!!!!!!!

Step #1 Calm down :)

Step #2 Touches sometimes mean nothing. We had no touches all the way up until we had an AOS interview date scheduled. I see you are trying to rush everything, since you jumped the gun on the 2nd biometrics by a couple weeks. Sometimes you just can't make USCIS process any faster, be patient.

Just because a touch is not showing, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. There are several of us that have had hactions taken and it has never been reflected as a touch. Also, we had touches and when we saw the paperwork and those dates, they did not even match. Don't rely too much on the accuracy of the touches. Be patient because you are within normal processing times.
