Ok, I looked on the UK customs website and couldn't really find an answer to this question, and an email to them has not been responded to.

My husband and I are going to Scotland for a friend's wedding in May. Our friends' who are getting married are Canadian and Canadian/English, and moved to England in 2004 (the Canuck on the working holiday visa) They haven't been back to Canada and of course are missing Tim Horton's coffee and such :whistle:

My question is, can I take a can of Timmy's coffee and Timmy's hot chocolate to them or will customs confiscate it? I picked some up on our drive thru Ohio and if I can't take it with me to them, then I'll just have it meself ;)

As long as it is still sealed and clearly marked what it is, then I don't think you will have a problem. I have taken Turkish tea and coffee into the UK before no probs.

they finally did respond, and said its ok to take as long as it doesn't have milk products in it. I'll have to check the hot chocolate lable to see if its got dry milk in it. Otherwise, it should be good to go!
