I got an RFE saying that my joint sponsor needs proof of US status..

He is a US Citizen through naturalization but all we have is his passport..

will this work?

AOS Timeline

12/05/2007 - Mailed AOS package

07/03/2008 - Received Welcome Letter and Green Card in Mail.

Yes, only US Citizens can get a US passport. A complete copy of the passport including cover will work, or a photocopy of naturalization cert.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
