K-1 Stategy to save time

Greetings everyone,

I know sometimes the topic gets covered elswhere, but i am confused, so I need to ask the question in MY form

I am heading to Ukraine in March to fianlize what I hope to be an engagement, and won't be able to return for 6 months. I was told by a member that I should do all the paperwork now and get multiple certified copies to her and take everything with me, then if we decide to move forward, I'm supposed to leave both Original docs and copies with HER, so when they contact her, i will not have to go back over to do paperwork? This is what I was told, and that if everything is in order, then one of the agencies can easily help her finish the rest and submit

Do this also mean that by doing this, I won't have to be doing FedEx for signatures, etc, and all the bullshit or back and forth mistakes waiting to happen

I would like to hear if anyone has done this, and/or has had sucesss with this and some tips of what I need to do in order to have all this done before I leave

Little things that might matter, like should I DATE the paperwork NOW instead of when i file, or should I avoid having OLD datyes on things, as I'm told things get rejected for simple reasons

Yes, learn as much as you can about the process before you go. Saving mailing time is saving time.

Defo - we didn't know what we were doing and even though that didn't delay us (although has caused some... interesting compromises to be made!!!) when I sent the evidence to my OH in the US it still took four weeks as the package was sent back - apparently it was addressed wrongly... of course it was addressed as I always address things to him, only this time it actually mattered!!
