Okay... I need to fess up... yesterday I received an email from California saying that my petition was approved on 04/18/06... and that a form letter has been mailed out.

I just now was able to log in to USCIS... and there is NO CHANGE on my status.

I feel almost sure that I must have typed in a screwed up number for the case number when I emailed CSC.

Until that form letter is in my little hands... I don't think I can believe it yet...

*whew* conscience clear now!

I want you all to know how very much I treasure your help and input in getting me this far... all of the support and cheerleading has definitely been a HUUUUUGE help.

PS: munchiekins... Tara... other k1's waiting for noa2... I'm still here cheering ya'll on!

thank you so much guys! i realllllllllllly want it to be true too... my friends have been telling me that it could not have been another case number because they would verify it along with my name... so, i am sure hoping so!

That really is such GREAT news!!!

Don't worry too much about the website, it has obviously had a few problems in the past few days, so I wouldn't say it's really reliable. Plus, my status hadn't been updated in weeks and was only updated AFTER I got approved! :whistle:

I'm sure everything is fine and you will get your letter soon! :thumbs:
