passport photo with 325a for beneficiary son

Hi all,

I am finishing up on our filing papers for the K-1 finally and i am coming up with a question. I know i include on Relyn's 325a a passport photo but what about her son who will accompany her to the u.s......he is 8 years old.

Is it reasonable to just do it anyway even though I see no instructions to definetly do it?

Reasonable to go ahead and send photo copy of their passports?

Your question is unclear. Are you bringing both of them (fiance and your step son) to the US or just your fiance? You will need to include his name on the 129F, and 325 A. You will only include your fiance's sons name on the form no photo is required because he is of derivative nature to her.

There is always big discussion whether to bring the kids with the woman or leave them behind for sometime. It always proves to be best (morale, and financially) to bring the kid when the mother comes.

Yes her son will accompany her to the u.s. and yes he is included on my (USC) 129f. and he is of course included on her 325a. my question was do i include his (the son) passport photo with hers since he is also coming with her.

wise to also include in our 129f package the photo copies of their passports?

No you do not need to include the passport. They will only require that when she goes to the interview. It is enough to present 2 passport photos of your fiance in the package of the 129. When I submitted my wifes 129 and 130 package I just sent supporting pictures of the relationship, her 2 passport style photos, copies of the front and back of my passport and she was approved without RFE. She had 3 kids, so we have experience in this.

Also your fiance will need to get an authorization to travel form from the DFA for her son, before he will be allowed the visa.
