lol I was just about to start a thread.

I'm fighting a stupid cough too, leftover from last week.

I'm painting our future bedroom today! :luv: We'll probably be moving in next week or so, or whenever the heater comes in (currently no heat down there whatsoever!) Ramy's at work again, he was up and out of the house at 5:45.

Divorced. To hell with him.

:crying: Why do family members have to rain on your parade all the time!?! I'm am sooo sick of hearing about all the ignorant things people think up regarding ME men. I don't want to hear anymore how I married a terrorist, I am an extreemist (or just plain niaeve) if I defend my husband, and how I better have given myself an out just in case he turns into the man they all think he is. Really, they hear something bad on teh news and lump all muslims together and ask me why they are all like that :crying: Why can't I just learn to keep my mouth shut??? My family doesn't even know we are married yet and are still telling me that I need to wait until the last possible minute to marry him to give him a chance to show his true colors  Like he would show them in 3 months if he hasn't already.... I am a newly wed, all I want to have at least a week or two of pretending like people are actually happy for us. I just makes it hard to enjoy being together when all of this came out of the woodwork. I'm not looking forward to my parent's visit next week...

Sorry to pitch a fit on the daily thread, just needed to get it out.

i can totally relate where u r coming from. my family doesnt like my husband. they dont know he is my hsband. well, one side does and the other doesnt. the ones i rely on the most dont bc they are so negative and i just dont want to hear it from them.

this staying home business is driving me crazy. it gives me way too much time to think and nothing to do. i dont know how i am going to survive another 11 weeks before the baby comes and then at least 6 after that. well, the after part will be easier bc i will be so tired and recovering. but until then, i hope it goes super fast!

sorry to hear this - this is a time for you to be celebrating and enjoying being a newlywed! unfortunately you can't change the view points of your family, hopefully in time they will accept your husband when they see the type of man he is....however its of no help to you now....if I were you, I would surround myself w/positive folks who support me and my decisions.....hard when its your family though....hope it gets better......
