I saw this in the Say Anything thread, which made me think that if anyone here has a favorite video, pic or youtube of their journey, or friend's journey, to Africa they may post it here. I pulled this one out of my dust files and still brings smiles to my face sometimes.

The longer it takes to introduce yourself the less you've actually accomplished

Thank you so much for this. It brought back so many nice memories of my recent trip to Naija. It was so nice to view. We will be going back there together soon after I visit him in the UK, and I cannot wait. There is a feeling being there that is hard to describe in words. Only those who have been there can understand. Thank again...

LOL. Thanks ladies. Making video clips was a hobby I had during that time. That is one way how I used to spend my waiting time. Sooo ok group, I know you have great video clips of Africa to share. :reading: :reading:

Stop it! I have a knot in my throat. This was beautiful. :luv:

Wish I had something to share. But I've never been to Africa before.

You made me cry........ took me back to the beach where we spend some wonderful moments with a red sunset.

We had a short video clip on a digital cam but he dropped it on the street while on a moped so I don't know if the clip can be salvaged

when he gets here.

I tried to post the pics in my gallery but the beach ones were too large ...... I will try again another time to upload them.

Here is my contribution to the video collection(please click on the link below).A friend emailed same to me and,it has never stopped reminding me how much I miss the country I call home,Nigeria. It is a snippet of the beauty, cultural diversity and immense potentials of our country. It also gives you a glimpse of the grandeur that is Africa. All the places and people are 100% Nigerian. To all those married or engaged to Nigerians, watch closely, and you will see that our fathers had been falling in love with beautiful foreign women since many moons ago.Enjoy!

And here is one that ought to put the Western media who depict Nigeria and Africa as no more than a vast, disease ridden, war ravaged, hunger smitten and backward jungle to shame. This is a different perspective. Not perfect, but certainly modern Nigeria.
