Hi everyone,

Its been so long since I posted here... I cant believe it!!

I have a couple of questions about the I-751... I read that we have to file 90 days prior to the expiration date on the green card, can we do it 6 months before?

My second question is regardin the I-551 stamp in the passport, the one that we get when the AOS is approved, I never got it!! My AOS was approved without an interview(lucky me  )...

Any help?

Did you get a card? If you got a card, the stamp doesn't matter...

hola Melissa :)

No, you can not apply early to remove your conditions. Please read the pinned post at the top of the forum for particulars, but if you want to apply early so that you get your new card before the old one expires, foret it.

The I-751 can take up to 18 months to get approved; you just let it wait.

It's OK to not have a stamp. When your card expires and you've filed the I-751, you get a letter extending the validity of your card.
