New processing times - is the USCIS lying?

Hey guys,

sandy, seaflower, NickD, everybody, I just received a letter from the USCIS saying that my application has been denied because I did not show up for the finger printing and biometrics. BUT I DID. I have a receipt, right in front of me with their stamp and signature on it. I can't stop crying..Can't think straight.

The letter I have received says that I will soon receive a notice to appear in front of the IJ.

PS: I also posted this in a separate thread but posted here again to give an update to all my friends here about the whole situation.

It is a serious situtation but remain calm and handle the matter patiently.It is not your fault,It is USCIS's fault and once they know about it they will approve you right away.This happened with few people before too.Call the follwoing number

Hello Eveeryone a Miracle happened,I'm checking my email since morning every 5-10 Minutes.Before I write the Previous Post above for our friend Zypher I check email there was no email from CRIS

But when I checked the email just after writing the above post thereeeeee waaassssss emaaaiiiiillllllllll frrrrooooommmmm CRIS "CArd Production Ordered.

I think I was the Last one Everybody is approved,If they did'nt send email they will send it soon.

My NOA is 06/27/07

also when you call to customer service you ask fax number , you can tell i done biometric and you can send fax to USCIS.

hey guys i am still here i am still waiting, GOOD luck to everyone that was approved, I ve been busy with my job, a lot of over time , that is why i am not online a lot but i am still praying everyday,

for all of you who got approved , let us know when you also received your card so we can add that to the thread, and good luck for the poor Zyph but i am sure is she have the proof of her BIO, they will correct the mistake for her

Hey Guys,

I went to the USCIS local office today (infopass). They looked at my biometrics receipt with the stamp on it, realized that it is their mistake, then they communicated that with CSC. He said that some officer at CSC replied back to him telling him that they will inform the local office with an update by next week"

BUT the local officer also told me that now it all "depends". It could happen that some office at CSC may say that "We don't care. We have already made a decision to deny on their case and denied it. If they have a proof that shows that the biometrics were actually done, then file a motion to reopen with $585 with it"

guess what i just found the card today, I did not receive any email or letter but i found the card in my mail box today i am so happy i can t beleive it , i am not applying for the citizenship, i don t want to go through this stress again, i a m permanent now and that is enoough for me
