Oct 28, '04: mailed off AOS, EAD & AP to Portland by Priority Mail

Nov 20, '04: received AP and EAD appt letter for Dec 9.

Dec 09, '04: received EAD at appt (but the fingerprinting done was NOT the biometrics!)

Jan 11, '05: initial AOS interview date but we need to reschedule.

Dec 20, '04: (circa) received letter requesting the $70 for fingerprinting to be done)

Jan 6. '05: received appointment date for fingerprinting on Jan 25. (found out only on the 25th that they WERE going to interview us on the 26th but they didn't send letter out because the officer was going to be away)

Mar 16, '05: AOS interview - FINALLY!

Apr 27, '05: Received temp card (I-551)

May still receiving welcome NOAs (5 so far)

I'm getting paranoid now about our clase being closed, about seeing approvals with NOA1 dates AFTER ours, RFE...aack...

I've looked around but can someone give em the toll-free number for CSC?

Ok, it's been ages since I called USCIS and I don't remember how to get past the recorded message which just said "don't call about your case for 180 days after it's transferred" :blink::wacko::unsure::crying:

180 days??????????????????????????

Don't worry too much. I still consider you are inside the normal window since CSC is now touching the May files, you file in April. Or would you rather see a RFE? I think the "closed" case is rare. You don't need to stress yourself out. It is easy to say, of course. I am keeping my fingers crossed for my RFE.

Don't worry too much. I still consider you are inside the normal window since CSC is now touching the May files, you file in April. Or would you rather see a RFE? I think the "closed" case is rare. I don't feel like I'm in any window since CSC is supposedly working on cases from October 2007. :crying:

I DO kind of think though that while we give each other great support, this place can also provide stress...lol

Yes, my wife will apply for the US citizenship. We have the form almost ready, just need to complete a few things and then it will be on its way.

Well, it is good to see all these approvals and I'm happy for everyone, but this thread made me obsessive about checking email WAY TOO MUCH!!!! :wacko: So rather than stress out about it anymore since we are in our 16th month of waiting we finished up his N-400 last night and I mailed it out this morning.

If we ever get an NOA for it I suppose I should move this over to the naturalization thread then?

Good luck to all those waiting as long and longer than we have, may you be approved soon!!!

Dec. 27, 2006 mailed I-751 packet

Jan. 4, 2007 date on NOA

Jan. 30, 2007 Biometrics

Feb. 1, 2007 last time our file was touched....

April 1, 2008, file touched and transferred to CSC

April 2, 2008, file touched again....

April 14, 2008 NOA about transfer

May 12, 2008 email stating 10 yr card ordered

Aug. 5, 2008 Naturalization interview

Sept. 23, 2008 Oath ceremony, new US Citizen!! (have dual citizenship)

Well, it is good to see all these approvals and I'm happy for everyone, but this thread made me obsessive about checking email WAY TOO MUCH!!!! :wacko: So rather than stress out about it anymore since we are in our 16th month of waiting we finished up his N-400 last night and I mailed it out this morning.

If we ever get an NOA for it I suppose I should move this over to the naturalization thread then?

Good luck to all those waiting as long and longer than we have, may you be approved soon!!!

If you have a cell phone that has an email address associated w/ it, you can put this email address instead of regular email address in the USCIS online status page. This way it goes to your cell phone as a text message. :yes:
