Are they even processing the remaining I-751 applications or is the plan to eventually transfer ALL of them over to the CSC? Are new applicants still being told to send their I-751 to Nebraska? This is ridiculous.

Never a good idea to complain to any US government agency, and that includes all 1,526 of them, only gets you into more trouble. While our congress started and funds them, not want congressperson can name all 1,526 agencies and are not even aware of the rules they are making. In many cases one finds out the hard way by following the rules of one agency is breaking the rules of another agency.

It's best to take your nice pill when dealing with agents, be humble and helpful, even give them sympathy for how hard they have to work.

Also not good to be an individual, EPA recently fined a huge corporation that was dumping tons of pollutants into the air a whole $5,000.00, while a small vehicle AC shop with two guys were fined $67,000.00 for doing what they called scam retrofits, not even harmful to the atmosphere. If we really want action, all 3 million of us should march in Washington, DC, if there is 3 million of us, find that hard to believe. There are only about 40 of us here, about 6 in another board. Maybe just our cases have been dropped by the wayside, not a bad percentage when you consider about 50 out of 3 million.

Oh, and "every single one of us" would be about... hmmm 35 letters? I don't think you'd make a difference that way. If you really want change, vote (or have your spouse vote..) for the right people and address the folks above the service center level. You won't achive anything by bogging down the SC itself. IMHO

I noticed there is an email you can write to if you have a complaint about the USCIS. So I emailed it asking about the 6 month back track, about NSC not processing I-751 , about people who filed just a few months ago getting approved when a lot of us have been waiting well over a year, and a few other things. I got a reply back almost instantly!

I did write a letter the day the July 05, 2006 date came out, even included key documents with a plea of concern to make whoever read that letter easy to read, with all the information in front of them. No reply as of yet, and perhaps a waste of a stamp. Calling the toll free number on case status only results in keying in your application number to hear the same thing on the web and if your application date doesn't exceed the processing date, don't bother us kind of thing. Infopass appointments can only be made two weeks in advance and no sense in making that long trip until the very last minute.

Glad I made that call to my senators office yesterday, least have some knowledge and they promised to make the inquiry for us.

Just put a big red X on my calendar, won't hold my breathe, and if nothing happens between then and now, will make that infopass appointment.

What else can one do? Those that pushed either got yelled at or who knows what happened to their application. The ball is in their court. Those that I know that sent in their I-751 early, had it returned, but is 90 days really enough?

To get any of those people to individually act on your application is most likely not possible due to the games CIS is playing. But it may help to make them aware of the fact that there are a large number applications sitting in limbo while others with the same types of applications who filed later are getting service. That may help..

This tack (addressing the overall problem without focusing on your individual needs) would be the best right now. What we really want is what those in TSC got.. our files being moved to CSC to be adjudicated. A rational argument outling the circumstances behind out situation, outling the situation for those who have filed ater July 2007 and outlining what was done with those in the same situation going through TSC and then noting why this has not been done for those who are waiting at NSC.
