Hello all.

It has been almost 60 days that the USCIS has had my adjustment of status.

Should I call, is this the usual time line? My wife is out of the country on an Advance Parole form. Will they wait until she returns?

Any help would be great

David.

Happy Holidays.

wow, we have already recieved our Biometrics appointments. It is only 2 1/2 weeks away.

It seems to be moving rather quickly.

This is great.

I think you should wait at least the holidays are over. If you check out some of the timelines in the August filers for AOS, you will find out that people that file at the end of july havent have a NOA1. You had at least yours and an RFE.

20-11-06 We sent our petition I129F

28-12-06 NOA1

14-02-07 NOA2

17-03-07 Packet 4 arrived

29-05-07 Successful interview. (We waited that long because my fiance travels a lot)

AOS

15-07-07 Wedding

14-08-07 Interview in OK City, AOS, EAD and AP

15-09-07 NOA for EAD and AP.(sep 13)and on 20-09-07 NOA for AOS. (sep 13)

13-10-07 AP received

17-10-07 Biometrics.

29-10-07 EAD received

28-11-07 Card production ordered

11-12-07 Green Card on hand.

Who's adjusting status, you or your wife?

If she's out of the country on advance parole, I'd pander a guess that it's her AOS, and not your's.

Just to clear up any possible confusion...

It may look confusing but If you noticed that he filed a K-1 petition, that would mean he is a US citizen. But you've already figured that one out.

They might not give you any information since it is your wifes case. I dont understand what you mean by will they wait until she returns? Wait for what?

60 days is not a long time. When it gets to 6 months she can infopass and check the status of her case but pretty much it is just waiting.

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline

The K-1 doesn't mean anything, and since the OP said "MY adjustment of status," clarification doesn't hurt!

Anyway, 60 days is not long! The lucky ones seem to get approved in 3 or 4 months. Some take much longer. Don't start panicking now!
