Ok tv gets me through the dull boring days of winter. I'm starting to go nuts already!!! I want a new episode of House, Heroes, Criminal Minds, etc. I don't want to think of a winter without Lost!!!

My sister is a script writer and she says they are really tough on each other to make sure they are following the strike guidelines.

Whatever happened to that show Lost on ABC?

It is supposed to come back around January I think but with the strike I have no clue when anything is coming back. Is your sister on strike then? How are they getting by financially during the strike?

There are 8 episodes of Lost already filmed, last I heard they are going to start showing it in February. The February start is nothing to do with the writers' strike - it was planned that way after they started losing viewers in season 3 due to the long breaks between new episodes. They were planning to show this season straight through from start to finish but now with the writers' strike that ain't going to happen.

Ok Thanks. Being a writer, my sister always has money coming from one source or another. She doesn't receive payment for her work on a consistent basis at all. One month she may have a windfall and the next month her script is being revised yet again.

I was hooked on that show until they started having inconsistent episodes. That kind of threw me off because I wasn't sure what they were going to have next. I just want to see how they'll handle the pregnant girl and if she'll have her baby

I'm sick of watching the Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy reruns. I found out that there's a new episode of Ugly Betty on Jan 10th, which just happens to be the day my mother is flying in at the exact time it's on!

But there's a new episode of Grey's Anatomy in 2 weeks I think. Blarg.

Medium will be back - it is a hit series on NBC - I've started seeing the promos for the new season on TV, although I don't recall the start up dates. There is a short but interesting interview with Patricia Arquette (aka Allison DuBois) in CVS' "Health Extra" magazine (fourth quarter, 2007). I have always liked her as an actress and she sounds like someone I would like as a person as well.

She does have a Sad Sack face. Her face stays like steel and her mouth moves by itself. Don't want to admit it either but Miranda's moles distract me too. I hate my own moles so when they do a close up I stare at her moles
