USCIS has been updating my AOS & EAD since april 14.2006 i was wondering why they update my info every day????/i am a little confuse... :unsure:

**K-1 VISA**

*07.29.05 sent package i-129f to california

*08.02.05 recveived NOA1

*10.17.05 received NOA2

*11.01.05 colombia's embassy received package

*12.05.05 interview date

*12.06.05 recieved VISA

*12.20.05 came to U.S.A!!!!

*12.28.05 applied for a Social Security

*01.05.06 received Social Security card =)

*02.11.06 married....

**AOS**

*03.01.06 sent package for AOS & EAD

*03.03.06 package arrived at unit (Chicago,il 60699)

*03.18.06 NOA1 for AOS & EAD (notice date 03.08.06)

*04.15.06 he had his Biometric taken

*04.17.06 EAD & AOS touched

*05.03.06 AOS touched again & case transfered to CALIFORNIA.

*05.12.06 EAD APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*05.16.06 AOS touched again!!!!!

*05.17.06 EAD approval notice mail it, from USCIS office...and AOS touched again....

thank yourself lucky they have been looking at your case.

Mine hasn't been touched since March 15th. Still awaiting my EAD from NOA 9TH of Freaking FEB.

The touch means someone has looked at your case. It doesnt mean anything more than that.

Personally I would love to know why some cases are touched several times before approval and some cases are approved without any touches.

There isn't any ryme or reason.

The best way to become insane if your going through this process is try and understand processing times.... There crazy and honestly nonsensical

i'm sorry to read that, but i hope everything is okay.. because is so estressfull to see that they do updates on my portfolio but they don't say anything else, it just say when they got our package and how long it's going to take to them to process...????? :huh:

I am also seeing daily updates. If I would take a guess it would be that the cases they have touch recently are stuck in some loop. Once on the list they are not falling off it like they should. The only thing changing for me is the date, al other information stays the same. I feel comfortable that it is more of a software bug than anything else

I noticing that there seems to be alot of people not getting there EAD cards within 90 days !

It really is a joke that it takes 3 months to issue these things. I spoke to an Immigration Lawyer yesterday who has been to Lee Summit and she advised me in takes literally 5 minutes to process the application and send the data to the company who issues the cards !

I accept the point there are a huge amounts of Immigrants but to get state ID it costs 5 dollars and is processed in 1 week.

Why should they charge 180 dollars ?

Sounds like possibly a bug as a result of current USCIS system issues.

26 January 2005 - Entered US as visitor from Canada.
16 May 2005 - Assembled health package, W2s.
27 June 2005 - Sent package off to Chicago lockbox.
28 June 2005 - Package received at Chicago lockbox.
11 July 2005 - RFE: cheques inappropriately placed.
18 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-485, I-131, I-765 received!
19 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-130 received!
24 August 2005 - Biometrics appointment (Naperville, IL).
25 August 2005 - AOS touched.
29 August 2005 - AP, EAD, I-485 touched.
15 September 2005 - AP and EAD approved!
03 February 2006 - SSN arrives (150 days later)
27 February 2006 - NOA 2: Interview for 27 April!!
27 April 2006 - AOS Interview, approved after 10 minutes!
19 May 2006 - 2 year conditional green card.
01 May 2008 - 10 year green card arrives.
09 December 2012 - Assembled N-400 package.
15 January 2013 - Sent package off to Phoenix.
28 January 2013 - RFE: signature missing.

I applied for EAD in DECEMBER 2005 and haven't received anything yet. NO fingerprints whatsoever BUT the letter for my AOS Interview. Seems like I applied for EAD for nothing and just spent 180 bucks for coffee at the USCIS offices. :blink:

Removal of Conditions Timeline:

03/19/2008 - package sent to TSC, let's hope for the best

03/20/2008 - check cashed

03/26/2008 - case sent to Vermont Service Center

04/17/2008 - Biometrics scheduled

05/19/2008 - received I551 extension stamp via INFOPASS

02/12/2009 - APPROVED

02/21/2009 - GC received...no mistakes...valid until 2019
