Hello everyone..I'm new to the board ..

My husband and I have been married over 2 1/2 years went to our greencard interview on Dec 18th in Santa ana, CA.

Had all the info they requested plus;

Info from our jobs

3 years of taxes -showing the 2 years my husband and I filed joint.

rental lease with both our names.

joint bank account with both our names.

copies of Gas and electric bill with both our names.

Copy of info frm work showing my husand on my health-dental-eye insurance (pus copies of our cards)

Copy from my 401 k showing husband as sole beneficary..

PLus brought photo albums of our marraige(small civil ceremony) and all the places we've traveled in the US together(aprox. 6 places)..

He didn't want to see photo album AT ALL (i asked him 3 times) he would not approve my husbands greencard but gave us piece of paper stating we had 30 days to mail back info he wanted which was: copies of receipts at places we stayed-copies of airline tkts (we've only flown once -back in Oct 2006 and no we didn't save the tkts) we don't normally keep this

kind of info (we have pictures for memories) The only thing I can do is get my bank statement copies showing payment of some of these things..

Were very stressed about this because were happily married and in no way is this a sham marriage...

Does anyone out there have any similar experience or input to whats going on and what else we can do?????

I really appreciate everyones help and time..

Did he give you this letter at the AOS interview, or did you get it in the mail later? What did it exactly say??

I would recommend to send the itinerary of the flight, perhaps you paid for the hotel or airfare with a credit card, I'd include that statement with the charge highlighted. If you bought the items online, you can most likely reprint the reciepts from the carrier. Sometimes the credit card will even be able to get a copy of a receipt (since they keep them to validate charges, but not sure if they'll have them from 2006). Send several pictures from each of the trips in question of you guys together & with other people, staple it to a paper with an explanation of who is on the pic, where it is and when.

Did you pay for any meals with a credit card during that trip? Or rent a car? Call up the places and see if they can dig up the electronic reciepts or at least email you a confirmation that you paid them for a certain time period.

Best of luck (F)
