My fiancee, in Peru, has now received all her certificates required for the interview. The question is: does she need to first take them to the Office of Foreign Relations in Lima before taking them to the interview. Her paperwork did not say anything about that, but she heard from someone, at the place she was getting the certificates from, that she would need to take them there before using them outside the country. I don't know if that includes the embassy since that is considered foreign soil. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. We tried calling the embassy.. but that is nothing but hold hold hold busy busy hold hold disconnect. Sometimes government workers just suck.

Oh and here are the documents I am referring to...

certificado de antecedentes penales

certificado de antecedentes policiales

certificado de antedecentes judiaciales

And in spanish the name of the Office is

oficina de relaciones exteriores

Thanks again for any help.

I only took the police certificate to International Affairs and they stamped a seal on it, i know that the peruvian embassy doesnt require that but i did it because a person in the place where i got that police certificate told me to do so. But i didnt take the other certificates and the embassy didnt say anything during my interview and i got the visa. If you have any question regarding the interview, dont hesitate in asking me, you can email me. I wish you the best on your interview
