my answer is yes.

My family do pray before a meal, even if its in a resto.

But we tell mom to make it quick especially if we are all hungry already and the food on the table is tempting!

I don't know if you'd call it a "prayer" but there is a very short blessing we say before eating or drinking anything whether we are at home, in public, with a crowd, just the family or alone.

I don't even pray at home before meal. But anyway, my mother (an extreme BAC) does everywhere. I remember several years ago, she actually prayed loudly at an ice cream stand. I really felt uncomfortable and thought that was over the top. I have seen some people bow their heads for a few seconds at a restuarant, but, rarely, pray audibly.

Do you pray before a meal at a restaurant? Yes I do. A quiet and solemn one.
