But Lansbury, you're right, what I am I supposed to do then??

You can read VJ and empathise will all those suffering and complaining about the USCIS.

You know it does no good, doesn't change a thing and that patience is required as it all comes out right in the end. But we were all the same it is the waiting not knowing what is going on which gets you.

What you miss is not having something to wonder what is happening to and complain about. Still there is for some still AOS and citizenship to renew the challengers of and battle with the USCIS system. :innocent::whistle:

it's all my fault :crying: I wanted a REALLY big APPROVED, somehow I magicked the interview list with my greedy wishes

somehow missed that bit of news. Well done

That's ok - I just wanted to know what sort of notice I am looking at so I can arrange to be in work early ;) I don't mind staying late - just means I get to go home early another day :D

Looking at flights now!!! Yippee!!

I AM SOOOOO ANNOYED!! The flight we saw FORTY-EIGHT hours ago has gone because my lame-o OH didn't want to book it Monday. Now his flight has gone from $700 to $1250. I. Am. So. Pissed.

Brobdingnag was the giants' city (in, yes, Gulliver's Travels ;) )

Juelz's post directly above mine was in giant writing

I felt dwarfed

Google is your friend :P;)

Yeah - I use Firefox too and it was ginormous... never used to be though so...

I've been meaning to post my interview and medical review but I'm lazy what are you gonna do :innocent:

I just think it's funny cos I think I mighta been a little blase about the interview. When they were asking me questions I did answer but didn't really elaborate very much. When the CO starting asking me about my OH's taxes. I didn't want to have to do them (yes, I knew I would end up dealing with them) so I was saying - no I don't think he'll have to file, he didn't earn that much, and anyway he gets a two month extension cos he's resident in the UK. I was being very resistant to the idea of filing them. The CO asked 'well when did he start work' I was ummming and ahhhing, and saying "ummm September? I dunno, I'm really bad at remembering stuff like that, it's all on the form, look at the form". He really reluctantly did, and confirmed I was correct.

I'm such a dumbass, as soon as I got outside the embassy I was berating myself and thinking 'wait, give me another go, I can do better' Of course he had already decided the taxes needed to be filed, he was just checking I knew what was on the forms!

When I thought back on it, I think I was actually just really nervous, and trying to convince myself I wasn't and ended up on some kind of rabbit-in-headlights-autopilot. I can't even remember most of the interview. I was so eager to finish it the guy didn't even tell me about the MBE, and I couldn't figure out if I'd paid for the courier or not :bonk: .

So yeah, the interview is easy, but my advice is still remember what's at stake. I can't believe I acted that way

I am soo excited too! I had a little tear on the way home though - it's all so real and I am going to miss being here - I just can't wait until I am all settled now though - it will be nice to live my life in some semblance of normality for once!!
