Hey guys, firstly thank you for all the luck & support, we couldn't have got this far along without VJ...

Second, can I get an "A", can I get a "P', all in red please.... Yes, we're also approved...

In & out in 2 hours. Everyone was really nice, my actual interview was like a friendly chat with a friend!

She asked how long we've been dating? 5 and a half, almost 6 years

She asked, where I met D? at a party in NYC

What was I doing in NY? Student

When did he propose? In November

Just gone, 2007? Yes, the official proposal with the ring....... & then I went into the long winded story that I won't bore you all with! She loved it and was laughing!

Then she told me I had been approved!! Yippeee....

Thanks guys ....we need it! Poor BG wound up on some ridiculously slow coach cuz the train brokedown...he arrived in london 3 am...i hope he wakes up in time. On top of that..he sent me valentine's present which the company just told him that they ran out...and so have to wait few days. But if we get the visa, that will be good enough.

Hi everyone....

Well tomorrow is the BIG day!!! James will be at his appt at 9:00am GMT and I will be asleep waiting for his call at around 4am! Im so nervous, i hope everything goes well!!!!! Good luck to those who are also interviewing on V-Day!!

So this is what BG texted- DOS lady was happy and said wait for fingerprints to clear. He wanted to know what that meant. Did everyone get that statement? She didn't specifically say whether he was approved or not.

Nope..BG said that she didn't ask him much. They collected the usual information-his checklist and I134. SHe looked at his passport and remarked that he made many visits to the US from may til october. She said likely to see your fiancee. She also asked how u guys met and that was it. She didn't ask for any evidence of ongoing relationship but BG did have a thick folder in his lap. I think he showed her our engagment pic and she made some comment. In the end it she stated she was happy from her point of view and there is just the matter of the fingerprints clearing. I'll take is as an approval when I know the visa is stuck to his passport.

Yep, they mentioned something about fingerprints clearing to me too. I'm afraid I can't remember exactly what it was but something along the lines of "I'm happy to say that I can approve you today, providing your fingerprints come back ok" - or words to that effect. I had my visa delivered three days later so I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.
