Odd for sure! I couldn't wait to report the good news! I do hope it all went OK for her! Enquiring minds want to know!

So EM, how is life in these United States treating you? Have you guys tied the knot yet?

I'm loving it so far. We're getting married on 26th Feb so I'm enjoying a nice relaxing time for another few weeks before I have to file for AOS! You'll have the pleasure of doing that before me. :)

I'm glad to hear it! We are scrambling to get everything together for the 16th! Nearly there! Although, we don't have the AOS paperwork ready yet. Not the big huge hurry that the K1 was. We're just happy to be able to be together to wait it out!

That's exactly how we feel. We don't want to rush but I'd like to be able to work sooner rather than later so we can't put it off for too long.

I hope you have a fantastic wedding day. Will we get to see pics? :)

I got approved. Lots of worrying about nothing really. Slept terribly last night so going to bed now.

Thanks everyone for the advice.

Good luck to everybody.

Yaaaaaaay...congratulations..... :dance::dance:

Ours is coming up next week...I'm getting a little nervous cuz I can't be there with my fiance. He hasn't even had the chance to get his paperwork together....arrrrgh :blink:

I'm sure once we get through the wedding, we'll just forge ahead into AOS. How hard can it be???

Thanks, we're getting really excited about getting married! I can't believe its nearly the big day! I think I may share a few pics with my buddies here, especially since I finally found an outfit I feel good about wearing!

Congrats to all the approvals! It's weirdly out of order, but awesome that everyone is finally getting through.

My fiance's interview isn't scheduled for the 28th, but his medical's tomorrow and that alone seems like a victory after all these months!! Getting so excited - still have to pull some of the support forms together, but honestly it seems so easy compared to all the wedding planning (and waiting, and waiting...) :)

Hey

Another date to add to the list - March 12th 9:30am.

I managed to change my date so quickly. I only received packet 4 with a March 10th date yesterday. I immediately emailed and sent a letter asking for it to be pushed back 2 days. And I called the DOS line 5 mins ago and it was already updated to March 12th!

I'm so happy, now Rory and I can enjoy our pre-wedding honeymoon to mexico (our relationship has always been a bit backward!!), then I can come back have my interview and then head to the US.

So over the moon!

Nope, but we're just having a quick Vegas wedding so there's not much planning involved. :D

Best of luck with everything.

I just want to wish walkies_a good luck for tomorrow!!!! Bring us back an approval!!!

My fiance sent his last packet of information with his checklist back to the Embassy in the early part of December (sorry, I don't know the exact date) and received notification just yesterday that he has been granted an interview for February 29. Yay!
