Welp I'm back in Scotland after a hellish flight.

Either way we're happy as clams that we're back together after 4 months apart. We leave for London Thursday morning, and Nathan's interview is 8am on Friday!

I had a quick question though - what did you take to the interview? Nath has his list from the packet 4, but it doesn't say anything about your copy of the petition, NOA1, or NOA2 or anything like that.

I think I've read that the consulate takes your copy of the petition and checks to make sure it's identical to the one they received? Just a bit confused. Thanks for any help!

Sorry you had a bad flight! But glad you are together!

Nope, you don't need that.

No way.

congratulations Rocks!!

Don't suppose you can confirm the 'same day visa' report? The only person that has got any info, wasn't able to avail of it, so I still see it as unconfirmed. (not that they didn't tell you that, new englander, but sometimes you get totally wrong from the extortion line, so I think it's possible the person you asked is mistaken, though it would be fantastic if it worked)

thankyou. :)

same day visa? i'm not sure about that. i was talking with a girl in the waiting room and she seemed to be under the impression that she could have her delivery sped up if she paid for it but when i went to pay the courier they said that it was 3-5 days for delivery. despite that, i got a message earlier today saying it would arrive tomorrow, which is only two days...

We passed! Woo hoo! Am on my future brother-in-law's computer with a weird UK keyboard, so will write more later. It took forever (8:30-12:30) but was easy at the end. We asked about the same-day visa pick-up and they said no way--they're contracted with SMS. In fact, they said 5 days was the minimum due to processing times. I'll keep you posted on actual arrival!

Well done! :D I'm still getting used to the weird US keyboard! ;)
