I was probably the most nervous I've ever been in my life the morning of my interview but it really isn't that bad. I know it's easy for me to say now it's out of the way but you'll be fine. :)

Ahhhh - so exciting and nervous in this thread!! Gillian - was it more nerve-wracking than your driving test? Almost everyone I speak to says that is the scariest thing they have ever done in terms of how they felt nerve-wise... I am betting going to an immigration interview is a billion times worse...

When I took my driving test the first time (took two goes) I was shaking so much my foot slipped off the clutch and I jumped a kerb... doesn't bode well for my interview!!

Yep, I was more nervous than my driving test, more nervous than any job interview I've had, more nervous than I can ever remember. I got virtually no sleep the night before and I took a double of dose of 'Nytol'.

The reason I was so nervous was because Scott had started a new job 8 days before the interview so he couldn't get a new I-134 and letter from employer to me in time for it and after a discussion we decided that I'd try to self-sponsor. This seemed like our only option at such short notice and I thought it was really risky at the time - I was convinced that the proof I had of my own funds wouldn't be enough and I'd be told that I would only be approved pending Scott sending over the new Affadivit of Support and that we'd have to wait a few more weeks. As it turned out they barely even glanced at the stuff I took so I had all that worrying for nothing - typical. :)

Haha - it is always the way!! I am sure that it will be more nerve-wracking at interview but easier to get through than a driving test if that makes sense!! It's beginning to dawn on me though and I am kinda scared about moving somewhere where I don't have any friends - we don't even have a place to live yet - nothing is settled and I suppose that is making me a little ansy too...

On another note - you are still the only person to have sent me any interview questions!! Although I am confident we will get more *glares at other people in the thread threateningly*

I'm sure that Maggie will be sending you a list Jeraly. She is the most thoughtful person I have ever known. Can't wait till my wife to be is here so i can get back to some normal sleep patterns. Four hours here, Three hours there, sucks. Hey, could be a start of a new thread.

'Has being involved with someone overseas messed up your sleeping patterns'

Randy I agree with you. It's amazing how many people you talk to who say the distance must be hard, the phone bills must be high which are both true...no one seems to add the time difference must be a killer!! HORRAY for caffine that's all I can say!

We have most of our conversations on line, with the cam. And if someone was to take away my caffine, well, i'd just have to ....displace them. It's a good thing I work later hours then most on here with a 9-5 job. I'm able to be on when Maggie gets up in the morning, and when she is going to go to bed later. So I sleep,,when? I sleep when I can. Makes Randy a really dull boy at this side of the pond. And when she gets here, I'll sleep when? At work !!! ;)
