Hi everyone

Guess im getting itchy now about my interview, is there a special way I should present the documents at the interview.

Any answers would be welcome

Thanks

Well, i've put mine in a clear pocketed binder and seperated all the documents into sections so they're easy to find. It's done now so I hope it'll be sufficient............

ty saffyre did you make any copies of them. Hope your feeling ok and good luck for Monday

You should make photocopies of you original documents. They only want to see the originals and keep the photocopies. Otherwise the originals will be put in to your MBE, and then the USCIS will have them.

For the sake of making a few photocopies, i think it's worth it to keep the originals. Even if you have 2 copies of your Birth cert, I have seen lots of posts from people who say that it comes in handy to have a few copies for AOS, SSN, Drivers licence etc.

It's just my personal feeling, but I wouldn't separate the docs in to those plastic pockets. They ask for them in the order they are on the checklist. So just stack them up, original with copy and put them all together in an envelope or file. The reason I say this is because I had pretty sweaty hands on the day, and becuase of nerves was easily thrown off. Fumbling around taking each out of their pocket for the few things I had in them just made me get everything in a mess.

just my 2c anyways :star:
