If he had simply provided the original documents as the instructions say he wouldn't have had the problem. I don't see embassy employees doing anything wrong. I also was not happy that this site tried to open my trusted zone.

I have read most of his most of his blogposts before this topic was started. At first I was in awe with the guy(I even posted a blog about him) but when his next posts were all about his detailed expenses for his child's formula milk, hotel expenses, visa fees and such I was utterly dismayed. He was asking for donation on his website because he doesnt have a job and he needed money to get his family to the US. Its like why even have a family if you can't support them...and what's with the formula milk?Hello? Can't his wife breastfeed their baby? I know its none of my business but jeez, get a job man.

Well my point was they don't have to be mean to you.. They were Mean to me when I was there too.. They don't like to repeat themselves.. If they say it once and you didn't understand them, they would yell at you..

What do you mean tried to open your trusted zone?

As for the immigration.. Isn't that hard for him to petition for K1?

Makes you wonder how he expects to exceed the required income from a sponsor.

I mean it tried to add itself to the list of trusted sites in IE. I have enough safety guards set up so that I am warned, but if you don't and visited the site, look in your trusted zone sites to see if it's there.

I have to agree. He brought copies and got mad when they told him to bring originals.

Follow the rules and things go alot easier.

I have no sympathy for him

c'mon, he doesn't even have his passport ready? Ill bet his paperwork was a mess too.

Bhing and I went to the embassy when I was there, the guards asked me for my passport 3 times before letting us in, we also left our cameras and cellphones at the entrance and they x-rayed Bhings purse also. We asked where to go and was instructed politely. When I went to the window and presented what paperwork we had completed together and asked if everything seemed correct, the gentleman looked everything over carefully and gave us some different paperwork saying that we need to finish that too. We got to the embassy late and he actually could have told us he wouldn't look at the papers but he did even after they were supposed to close.

I left with the feeling that they protected the embassy well. As we were leaving I wanted to take a picture of the strange trees in front of the Embassy when a guard yelled to me I couldn't. I asked him just of the tree and I'm pointing away? He replied that I couldn't even do that so I replied to him "why?" He replied "I have no idea, It's your embassy" all three of us laughed.

I think it all has to do with the attitude you show, they have to deal with this every day and I am sure they get frustrated seeing and being asked the same things day in and day out. Since we got there just before close I didn't even expect to be seen let alone treated as well as we did.
