Hello all, thank you for all your help. I have a question, my wife entered US on 12/26/07 on CR1 visa. At the airport she got a stamp in her passport until 12/25/09. Question, we've been married less than two years, do we have to remove conditions at 90 day her green card expiration, or she will get a 10yr green card. Also, date stamp in her password, is that our anniversary date or it will be on a green card?

Yes, she will need to file to remove conditions in the 90 days preceding the expiration.

She will get a two year green card, you will have to apply to remove the conditions 90 days before that one expires, and then after that it is a 10yr card.

The date in her passport is the date which will be on the green card.

What to expect at the POE - WIKI entry

DVJ do you think you could post your timeline as to how long it took from the time you filed to arrival?

Your interview took 210 days from your I-130 filing date. I am not sure if it helps, our CR1 interview was faster than K3.

Between 9-25-09 and the expiration date you will have to file the form I-751 to remove conditions. The app fee and bimetric fee total $545 at present. It's best to file just as soon as you can. After this is approved, your wife will be issued a 10 yr. green card.
