You don't have to worry about this, they won't ask why you took time off. All they care about is that you can show that you have the means to support your partner, or that someone else is willing to take the responsibility.

heh....I have considered leaving ......even giving up my job of 15 years.....and i house that i have lived in for 12 + years....am just a factory worker....so....am not sure how well I would do in a foreign country.

My fiancee is in Dubai, UAE.....I have been there twice and I love it there....but she thinks she would have major problems with her family.....so we dont talk much bout that option anymore.....even though....she gets in moods when I think she would give in if I pressed the issue.
