How on earth did this move to off-topic???

Well, I guess we had gotten off-topic at this point... :P

My point exactly, lets keep this about Immigration. The OP was wanting an easy way out for her illegal. Whether it be a sisters fiance/husband or her fiance/husband or both as the case maybe judging by her multiple posts stating differing information.

It all stinks to me.

No, she was looking for advice to legalize her family which is a proper reason to ask for advice in two different cases and there is no reason why people just get at her for trying to do things right. The easy way out interpretation is yours and that of other people bithcing at her; given the plethora of myths concerning the ease with which Americans can bring their foreign spouses to the US her ignorance should not come as a surprise.

Did she seriously expect us to open our arms and give her a warm hug for asking how to help her LEGALIZE her ILLEGAL husband in the US??????? Well i can give some advice, send him home, file LEGALLY, AS THE REST OF US HAVE, then come and ask for advice on legally getting him legalized. Most of us here havent seen our loved ones in a year OR MORE, and its because we are doing everything legally and correctly. OFCORSE we are gonna get pissy when we get someone asking for our help on an ILLEGAL person already in the country, trying to legalize himself the EASY way!!!!! Why would we react any different??

someone give me some of that fukidol

Say your wife tried to come here legally but they told her no. So she came here illegally. Then would you feel that way?

My husband tried to come here legally on a tourist visa, the embassy wouldn't give him one. But that didn't give him to right to try to come illegally. He stayed in India until the legal process of our K1 visa was done and he could enter here perfectly legally. Once you come illegally, it will negatively effect every other legal process you could have used in order to be together in the first place like the K1, K3, CR1, etc.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Also we have a a problem he uses a fake soc. security card and resident card. Can they find out?

Thank You

Come on Fischkoepfin, dont be naive - the OP clearly looking for us to tell her an easy answer and all the facts are not being given. Your a clever person and Im sure you can read between the lines. Two posts of differing facts says it all to me.

Of course she's looking for easy answers, but that's what most people do who post here for the first time. What I do and have objected to is the fact that instead of just giving her an answer or ignoring her, people get on her case.

We need to make sure that this whole illegal-issue is not clouding our ability to be friendly and helpful, which is one of the strengths of this board. If we want to be unfriendly and unhelpful, we go to off-topic and post there. And this is not the first time in the last few weeks this has happened but it's becoming the norm, and it's not good that way.

I dont see anyone feeling the warm fuzzy feeling to help someone trying to stay here when they are already here illegally and we are all doing things legally and waiting to be with our loved ones. Yes indeed maybe she should have been ignored, but ill tell ya, i couldnt do that, my anger in me took over my fingers.

I was denied at POE cos I tried to see my wife for xmas (I was told - tell her to visit you in the UK - yer right and bring the kids too). The whole you are assumed guilty at POE and must prove innocence is created because of Illegals IMO.

Incidentally, I totally disagree with the Guilty until proven Innocent policy of CBP.

Obvious your living in barbies dream world. I for one have been part from my husband so dayum long, as most of the people in this forum. how insulting can you be to think- how dare we be upset with MRS. Fast track nelly and her sister! when we have to look at our kids explain why daddy or mommy is not here. we have to ourself explain to our spouse why they cant come over.

we all are doing it the legal way! my husband and alot of other spouses, have never committed any crimes or done the illegal hop over the fence. it hurts like he11 to see our spouses so upset to tears and you cant do NOTHING about it. maybe you forgot when your spouse cried how it cuts like a knife in your heart. let me tell you - I dont forget the tears my precious honey has shed!!

like others we have missed our 1st wedding anniversary, Birthdays. special events that normal people can share. we are wrong because the op and her sister wanna fast track around the immigration he11. I think we all earned our RIGHT to bych her out!!

Point taken, I too disagree with unfriendliness and this site is set up to be helpful but you cant expect people to condone illegals and her post of "i cant send him back, how do i tell the kids etc." got my heckles up.

I've been waiting for almost a year, too. And believe me, I am extremely angry... at the fukcheads in power who refuse to realize that there is a problem with immigration and lo-and-behold it is not just with illegals immigrants and their lacking work permits but with the system as a whole. I don't want to go into to much detail as how this year has ruined my current life, but it has and it will take a while to rectify things...

However, just because I'm angry at the $hitty situation the immigration process has gotten me in doesn't mean that I need to take out my frustrations on someone else who most likely has no clue why she gets flamed. That might be weird, but I really don't like it when people do that even if I understand why they do it.

Yes. You see, I went to the bank yesterday and asked to withdraw $500,000. They said no. I resisted going back there today to take the money anyways. Had I not resisted, I would have commited a robbery and that's just not something I would do.

Yes, my dear I DO think about status and if they are following the law. How can you say "if they are responsible" you do think about spending your life with them. Well your fiance/husband IS NOT responsible for having a FAKE SS card!

Yes I agree that was irresponsible for him to do but in the United States, you can't work, you can't get a lisense, and you can't even cash a check without a SS card and without an Id. So he felt like he had no other choice.

My sister's husband refused to get a fake SS card because he doesn't think that is right so he breaks his back and works six days a week/ 12 hour days just to bring home a normal amount of money.

So which situation is better and who are you to judge? These are both God fearing men and God is there only judge.

My sister has been happily married for a while, her husband has been supporting the family. They have two children; a 4 year old and a 3 month old. They have never been away from each other for more than a day. If he goes back to Mexico how is she supposed support the family and how is she supposed explain to their children why their dad is gone. She will not tell her children that he had to leave because other people doesn't want him here.

"Also we have a a problem he uses a fake soc. security card and resident card. Can they find out?"

As most of us here have to jump through all the hoops that USCIS deceide just to get our Residents Card... I have no simpathy for his situation... sorry

As my Greencard went missing in the mail.... for all I know it could have been doctored and is now being used by someone just like your fiance... That just makes it harder for all of us...

Kezzie

My fiance SS Card is his name and it comes from a number that DOESN'T EXIST. When it comes to people using SS cards that do exist I don't support it. Please don't judge him.

I do judge him!!! He shouldnt be using a SS card that is FAKE, wheather the number exsits or NOT. You want support, but how can we? You ask what you can do? send him home and have him do everything the right way, as the rest of us are. I am not going to apologize for being harsh! For ####### sake my fiance missed our sons birth (webcam was good, but HE WASNT HERE FOR IT and thats the imp part), hes also missed the WHOLE first year of bonding and holding his son. Even if he could get over here illegally (which hes more of a man to sit and wait and suffer) he surely cant swim the atlantic and beach himself onto the daytona beach and wait for me to pick him up. Your situation angers me, as im sure it does others. All of here are suffering without our loved ones, or have in the past suffered without our loved ones because we did all of this legally, because when you love someone, you want to do things RIGHT, you dont want to ####### around with the system so that eventually or probably one day you watch your husband/wife be deported!!!
