yep, i had yesterday off for xmas, work today and then have thursday off (it's my regular day off). So now i am reallllllllllllllly demotivated to go in for one day.

Did go to walmart this morning (early) for the after xmas sale. Believe it or not it was not very crowded and I was in and out in 30 minutes.

Morning everyone! Spent a few days in Miami where it was nice and warm. I really enjoyed it and it got my mind off of a lot of stuff. No more work for me. At least for the time being. Guess I won't be working until after this baby is born. I get to be home and enjoy being a mom again for a little bit. It is cold here in the North Ga Mountains. Makes me want to run right back to Miami. Hope every one has a great day!

It really does feel like Monday! I'm working from...work...for the first time in a week. I'm still pretty sick but I'm damn stubborn and I won't go to the dr. for just a cold.

Somehow my mom and I whipped up Christmas dinner in about 4 hours yesterday and our first Christmas together with Ramy couldn't have been better........and he got the most presents! lol I was just so happy to have HIM.

Divorced. To hell with him.

good morning everyone! my kitty is still in the hospital but it sounds like he's going to be okay and we'll be able to pick him up next monday! so 8 days without my boy!! :cries:

but hopefully he'll come back with a better thyroid and heart (found out he has the beginnings congestive heart failure too!)

had a nice christmas with my family... haven't seen/spoken to my bro since our wedding day (some of you remember he called and threatened me if i married my husband) so it was very weird to see him face to face after so many months. at first he barely spoke to me but over time he warmed up. then after he left he sent me a nice text message about loving me and wanting to see me more and for me to be there for my nephew. that was nice but he still said maybe two words to my husband the entire day (hi and bye)! <_< looks like my family has a lot of healing to do!!!

hope everyone has a great last week of 2007! now what are your new years plans?! anything fun?

I'm going to be messed up with the days of the week this week! At work today, but it's pretty slow. I actually was at Old Navy at 7:00am today which is a first for me. I've never been at a store that early before. I got a couple pics of me, hubby and kiddos that I'll have to post later.

Hope everyone has a great day!

get to go pick up my husband from the airport today. he went to syria for 2.5 weeks. dummy me didnt save enough vacation so i could go. probably a good thing since he was sick with the flu the whole time he was there and we also got his biometrics appointment letter for his green card the very day he left. if i would have gone we would have missed the appointment so i was here to reschedule. thank God for that since we have been waiting almost 3 years for that damn greencard and this could be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Morning everyone. On vacation this week so not so bad today BUT I ran out of trash bags and forgot to snag some from my sister's house so the livingroom and dining room looks like a hurricaine hit with all the boxes and wrapping paper everywhere. lol. The kids have been playing with the Wii that Santa gave them since early this morning while I got to sleep in.:dance:

We're going shopping later 'cause like a fool I promised them I'd take them shopping today so they could spend their gift cards that everyone gave them. This is the worst possible day to go to the mall, right? :bonk::bonk::bonk: I won't leave until we have a plan of how many and which stores we go to.

My husband pitched quite the fit last night. First time in quite a while that he's done that regarding the visa. I think it's because our anniversary is Dec 28 and he's there looking at memories every minute of every day. This really really sucks bigtime. I haven't cried but have been very depressed and am sick of my family trying to figure out what is wrong. Just say sorry and move on ya know? Can't fix it unless you bring him here with a big bow on. Must have gotten asked at least 20 times yesterday "where is he", "how come he's not here yet"?????:wacko::wacko: He emailed the embassy a few days ago and wonders why they haven't emailed him back. I tried to explain that they take at least a week and that I have been emailing them twice a month and getting the "admin processing" response each time but he's suddenly convinced that something is very wrong and he wants them to give him an answer as to what in the hell they're doing over there. I tried calming him down but there was no talking to him. :( He's like, "you are my wife and it is our right to be together this is NOT RIGHT for us to be apart".

happy day after chrsitmas everyone! We had a great Christmas/hubsters birthday with the family. Gramma forgot that we don't eat pork and the only meat there was a fabulous looking ham. Got all sorts of stuff that I had been needing but am too poor to go buy for myself so that was cool. Family is finally accepting hubster as "one of us" so there were some great conversations and hubster even fixed up grammas dvd/vcr/satellite so they could watch the movies they've been getting! They even made comments about how great he has been for me.

Then came time to go home to mamas house. God wanted the trip to be delayed, I guess, coz he sacrificed a dear by way of front grill, hood, passengerside of Amals car in order for us to stay put for a while. Car is now undriveable as there is a hole in the radiator now and the front is crunched, hood won't latch, grill is about to fall off, omg so many things wrong now! We are all uninjured alhamdulillah. My first thought was OMG is my son ok!!!, then it was.. thank you God that we are all safe. THEN it was..holy mother of goodness...how are we gonna get back to TEXAS to take care of my cats who have been stranded alone since we left!!! We left enough food, litter, and water for the days we would be gone but probably won't last more than another day or 2...my poor kitties :crying: .... NOW we're waiting for the adjuster to call and set up an appointment to asess my car (which they said could be anywhere from 24 to 48 hours) and then wait to see if it can be fixed or not. yuck!

We have to find a way to get hubster back home so he can get back to work since he didn't have a paid vacation for this. I'm good until next Wednesday so hopefully they can get it fixed by then. (gotta love paid vacations!!!) Not sure how to get him home since we're practically broke and now have a car to fix....All I can say is..God is great and it must have been his will for this to happen so I'll just accept it and whatever else he throws at me....

Hope everyone else had a great holiday!!!
