Im in the us military i filled all the paper work needed for my wife imigrant visa she is a citizen of venezuela en resides in dominican republic we got married in dominican republic and her case is already in the us embassy in dominican republic. we i filled all the papers with her new last name my last name if she has a valid passport with her old name as single will the be a problem for the issuing of her visa? Case been that there is alot of curruption in her country we try everything we can to change her last name in the passport my wife even flew to venezuela to try to do it i person because of the curruption in venezuela is a long expensive process :help: she has her military dependent id with my last name.
