I was in the same situation as you. I did not plan to live at the same address when my fiance came to the US. I would suggest you do what I did. Put the current address of your fiance in the USA on the petition and send it. When the time of your interview comes, you should know where you will be living and put the new address on the documents that you will have to bring to the interview and just explain about the new address to the officer.

Now about your parents birthday's. I understand that a lot of people in Morocco do not know their actual day of birth, only the year. If only the year is known, then you will be OK. I am sure the consular official is familiar with this problem. Good luck with your visa journey!

i agree with putting your aunt's address. you can't just put "Address unknown". but change it with them once you find out the new one. i did that and everything went OKAY!

and second: my husband's mother also does not know her birthday and month so i put the year and everything went fine!!! so don't worry about the exact birthday!

good luck!

My husband knew his moms birthday, but only the year of his dad. They didn't keep accurate records back when he was born, and I suspect that was true for his mom as well, but there was a date for her so we used it. For his dad we only put the year. It all worked out fine for us.

You guys talking about the DS230?

1. Yes put the current address. I am in the same situation and that is what I am doing. When we find a place of our own after he comes back, we will just move and fill out ankthe change of address form with USCIS accordingly.

2. If you are talking about the ds230 form, in the fields of father's family anme and mother's name/birth dates.....it means the beneficiary's parents info and not the petitioners info? I guess that would make sense now that I think about it. Please someone clarify that as I have not mailed mine yet and may need to change it. (I'm filling it out for my husband and sending it to him to sign by DHL, etc) but I may need to put his parents info and not mine:) (Good thing I read this thread perhaps) Thanks

June 14, 2007 Sent I130 to Vermont Service Center via USPS overnight

June 15, 2007 Confirmed on usps.com that VSC has received packet

The most important thing is to put a complete address on the "place where you will live" question..

"City and state" or "to be determined" are not complete and sound like your fiance is homeless.

Put the aunt's address down. NUMBER, STREET NAME, APARTMENT # (IF LIVING IN A FLAT), CITY, STATE and ZIP CODE.

Later, your fiance (PETITIONER) can give the NVC or USCIS a change of address (there is a form for this) when she gets her own house.

And you should give your fiance the day, month and year of your parents births.

i disagree. well you should , but if you can't it would be okay also. i put only the year of my MIL's birthday (and wrote in "unknown" in the month/day section) and we came out fine with no questions asked. i'm sure many others here experienced the same as in morocco people didn't really know their birthdays. now a days young people pretty much all know it but for the parents of our husbands they likely don't know when they were born! :)
