September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Merry Christmas to you too, Marc! I want to say that no matter how heated the discussions can be here, may none of us take such arguments personal. I enjoy the rapport that we have here in spite of our differences of opinions.

All of us are so much more than our political views or opinions about things and when it comes down to it, we have a lot more in common than what sometimes gets focused on here in OT.

In the spirit of Christmas, let's celebrate the common bonds and not stew over grudges or malcontent toward one or another.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
