Hello,

On Dec 11th, I received an email from CRIS stating my I-130 petition was approved and that a letter was mailed out. It's now going on 2 weeks and I have not yet receive this letter. They have the correct address as when I received my NOA1, everything was correct. Is this normal or maybe it's the holiday and it's taking way longer then usual? Any advice on what to do?

I would appreciate it. Thanks

I have been checking every other day to see if they received my dad's case at the NVC and still no record of it. Tash, you can try to see if they have received yours.

When you call the number (603) 334-0700; the options are 1, 1, 1 after this third 1, you may want to listen for the 3 letters before the numbers. If it is WAC, that is option 4; once you confirm the 3 letters, enter in the 10 digits followed by the # sign. I hope it is finally at NVC. If nothing yet, check back with them in January.

Best of luck to you :D

Tash, my girl just be a little patient. I was told by one of those government workers that a letter was sent out to me on 12/3. I received it on 12/22 with a postmarked date of 12/19. Maybe the letter was generated but not mailed. Just keep checking your mail. You know you have been approved and good luck withe the rest of your journey.:thumbs::thumbs:

Thanks for the NVC number. It's now stored in my phone along with the shortcuts. I checked and there is no record as of yet. I guess because it is the Holiday season, everything is taking longer then usual. Well, I appreciate all the replies from everyone. I will wait patiently and keep checking the automated system.

HAPPY HOLIDAY, SEASON GREETINGS TO ALL.....
