Hey everyone,

I wanted to let you guys that the IV Bill is going up to $400 starting January 1, 2008.

I'm glad I sent and paid the IV Bill before January because it is still $380.

Another funny story, I got the IV Bill and the papers said the date was on December 15th and in the automated system it said the date was December 17th. I'm glad we don't have a shortcut for this.

yes mine was dated dec. 9th and said generated on the 10 th we all should get together and put all our random numbers together and see if we can crack it so we can get a shortcut for this process for future people it would of been really nice to cut that week out from waiting for it aaarrgggg by the way good luck clow and thanks for the update

Yikes! The last time they did that, applicants had to pay for the increase in rate to the embassy on the date of the interview.

Guess that means we need to be prepared to pay at least another $20 for our January interview!

This process keeps getting more difficult as we try to wrap it up! First NVC appointment processing expanded, now increased fees!

Here's how it goes for the NVC, I figured it out!

If the NVC generates (ex. IV Bill) on the weekend. (ex. Sat, Dec 15)

Then, the NVC will mail it and post mark it on a weekday which will be Monday and the NVC automated system will say (ex. Mon, Dec 17)

Please Note: Please check dates very carefully because of the weekends.

You said December 9th (that was a Sunday) =) then they Mailed and postmarked Monday Dec 10th.

That's a little trend!

well you know the dates are not the real issue with the IV bill. it is that random number after your nvc number on the bill. so how do you figure the date when all you get on auto message system is IV bill was generated on december 10 2007 and you dont know when the bill was accually printed out but one thing it is either the computer at nvc automatically prints out info. at a certain amount of time or the nvc personal work on weekends any ideas

Yeah for K3 filers the fee is increased (at the embassies) by about $30.

If you look at it.. It looks more.. Like WOW!! $400!! Are they crazy!!

But if you think about it its only $20 additional.. Heheheheh..
