Hi Guys and Gals,

We got the notice of the interview on 02/12/08. It was the normal I797 stating all the items to bring with you on the day of the interview. It asks, (among other things), for a letter from my employer, tax docs, shot records, letter from the bank...etc.

My question is; if I already sent all of these items in with the original package, do I have to bring them with me again?

Thanks,

Reach449

You need to bring EVERYTHING IT ASKS FOR ON THE LETTER. Even if you already sent them in.

This needs to be pinned...this is getting asked daily lately.

Did you make a copy of the whole AOS package before you sent it in? Just bring that and you'll have most of the list covered. Although you do need originals of the birth certificate and marriage certificate.

I had noticed this kind of question is being asked with more frequency as well. Just on the first page of this forum we have 2 others as well. I don't think it needs to be pinned though, can we pin common sense? I do not mean that to sound rude, the paper asks for it, why would there be any question (unless there was no photocopy made of the package prior to sending).

Yeah, you're right. I just woke up and my first thought was PIN THEM ALL!

:D

It's common sense. If the paper asks for it, bring it. Or get an RFE at the interview. Who wants that?

Thanks, yes I have copies of everything. That isn't a problem. Sorry to everyone if I asked a question that has been asked before. Sometimes I just don't have time to search for an answer.
