I won't need to do this for at least a year (and I'll be lucky to even get my corrected conditional greencard back by then :wacko: ) but I thought I'd get a head start so when the time comes I'm not rushing/panicing.

For Part 5 of the Petition to lift conditions on residence, it asks for information about your children... If all my children live in Canada, I still put thier names down with NONE for A# and leave the address blank on the form but should I also include an attachment stating that they live in Canada and that at this time we have no intentions of having them immigrate? Or is this completely uneccessary?

I know it sounds like a dumb question but I don't want to be missing anything relevant when I eventually and acquiring a RFE for it later.

11/22/2005 - Biometrics - AOS and EAD

12/07/2005 - AP and EAD approved!

12/15/2005 - AOS transfered to CSC

01/12/2006 - AOS Approved!

Removal of Conditions

04/09/2007 - Filed I-751 at NSC (filed early - see timeline for reason)

04/30/2007 - NOA1

06/02/2007 - Biometrics

03/27/2008 - Transferred to CSC

04/18/2008 - I-751 Approved! (didn't find out til 11 days afterward)

04/29/2008 - I-551 stamp at Portland office (told of approval)

05/12/2008 - 10yr Greencard arrives in mail!

*phew* I'm done for a bit now - naturalization can wait

It says, "List all your children." so list all your children.

Instead of going to all the trouble of making an attachment to explain that your children live in Canada, why not write 'living in Canada' in that address space that you're planning to leave blank?

We entered 'none' for A# and in the address line typed 'not in US' as another way of approaching it.

I don't think its an issue for you two, but the USC's children's details should also be entered on the I-751 if it is Joint Application.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll go with "Not living in the US" on the form. I'm just so used to writing attachments for every little thing just to be sure. My husband thinks I'm #######. That's not always a bad thing is it? :P
