Hi everyone,

I am finally flying out ot vbe with my honey on the 24th (monday) !!!!!!!

I have my K1 Visa !

But what do I need to show the immigration people, I will be flying innto Atlanta,

I think all I need is my passport with Visa

The Package they send you,

And my Xray

Is this correct????

Also has anyone any experience with Atlanta, They were pretty cool with the Visa waiver so am expecting them to be for this.

Sounds like you are good to go. You will also need the I-94 that they give you to complete on the Flight. I've been through Atlanta several times and always found it to be a very busy airport. It depends totally on the POE officer as to how they treat you. I've breezed through on the VWP and had the person next to me also on vwp be grilled by a different officer. If you are getting a connecting flight allow yourself at least 2 hours.

Good Luck

Adele

chrisq,

You have everything you need to satisfy the Border Control officer.

There are 3 primary variables in how you will be handled - the mood/personality of the officer, the competence of the officer in handling K-1s, and your mood/personality.

You sound pretty relaxed at the moment, so that's good!! It also seems like you haven't had issues entering in the past, so I don't imagine that you'll have trouble this time.

It is likely that you'll be sent to a secondary processing area, so don't get upset or concerned if that happens. It takes a while to get your paperwork in order, so they do that in order to keep the lines moving along. My wife didn't come through Atlanta, so it might be different there, but that's how things were handled in Miami.

Best of luck,

G
