Well, if she's anything like my husband was, she'll first dance in the snow and make snow angels. Then, she'll want to do some sledding.

That first big snowfall is priceless.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Yep the first snowfall is priceless. Then, if she is like my ex and my sweetie...they quickly get over it. Haa-haa. A is Canada and he was excited for about an hour, until he took his first fall. Now, he hates anything resembling snow and ice. He said he doesn't even want ice in his glass. LOL LOL

I had a wonderful Christmas. I trust that yours was wonderful as well.

There isn't a lot of TNT interaction on the boards...feel free to join us in the Yardie thread or even My name ain't Stella thread started by me. We are a loving, crazy cool bunch! If the patois is too thick, just ask and we will be happy to explain it.

I have always wanted to go to TNT, but it's much cheaper to go to Jamaica. One day, I will make it there I hope.

Thank you very much. My Christmas was marvelous. Good to see the family, for sure!

I think I will start hopping on the Yardie threads, since there's not a lot of Trini folk around  . Though I must warn you, I'm what you would probably call "a yank" and don't really know any Trini or Jamaican speak! I'll probably be too shy to ask too much and will try to google some of it.

It's cheaper to go to Jamaica? I can get round-trip tickets to T&T for about $450 on a good day, through Continental. Of course, I guess it's cheaper to go where you have family & friends who can shack you up for a week or two

Here's to a happy new year to finish off the Christmas season

Haha Jesse yuh too funny! yuh cyant google hav di tings we sey. Don't be shy....we're all family and soon nuff you'll be chattin pure dutty patois!
