hello guys

i just received interview letter for aos on 9th jan 2008 .

they had actually send letter in november but as i had moved i did not got that. they had actually denied the case

and i did infopas apointment and requested them to repoen and they did

i am so happy i thought i might lose like 7 months but interview again in one month

but i have one question like aos case , they had send ead approval notice in the month of november and same as aos i had not received it . so after waiting for one month (as u have to allow 30 days for mail to reach u)

i have still not got it.

what should i do now?

thanks

any help should be appreciated

I'm so happy that your case was reopened and you got the interview date soon! Congrats!

I'm not sure what you can do now about the EAD, what about calling USCIS about it? No doubt the EAD card was sent but returned to them, so they have proof that you did not get it. Did you mention at the infopass appointment (for AOS) that your EAD approval was not received either? I guess you could schedule another infopass specifically for the EAD.

At any rate, hopefully you will be approved without problem on Jan 8, and you will receive the green card, so you will not need the EAD card anyway.

thanks so much

yes i did talk with them for ead at that infopass appointment but that time i had to allow 30 days (as its their rule?)

for mail to reach .

so now its exactly one month and so just curious.

as i did not had ead i do not have ssn so don't have much things in my name(as i have changed into my married name)

i just learned that green card is everything so i won't need ead now . so its fine even if it doesn't come.

again thanks for the information. hope everything works at interview.
