Need help on my situation

I used to be a foreigner student. And I met my wife. Got married!!! And then I got my first green card through my marriage on Nov 2005. My conditional green card will expire on Nov 2007. So I will plan to apply my permanent green card around August 2007. However, during this upcoming Fall, August 2006, my wife is planning to study abroad in Germany. I just don't know whether the fact that me and my wife don't live together will raise the INS eyebrows and when I turn in my application for second green card. they will ask for the interview. Besides, I think around August 2007, I plan to attend university at the different city from the city I live with my wife right now. The bottom line is, is there any couple out there have experience like me? I just wanna know whether my application will look bad in the INS eyes? If so, is there anyway to support my case? Or I can convince my wife not to study abroad in Germany and wait until my second green card get approve.

I really doubt that this would upset them. I think since you're both young students, it's a natural thing to want to study abroad. (I did!) And I don't think they would expect your wife to stop such experiences, simply because she's married to a foreign citizen. It is not as if you are both living in two seperate places, you know? She is just there to study.

How long is she going for?

I honestly think they will be completely fine. I know that when they lift conditions they usually don't call you in for a second interview if you have plenty of evidence. Just keep in mind that on the off chance they do schedule you for an interview, that she'll have to come back home for that.
