I called my congressman on monday the 17th of DEC and i recvied a e mail to the 21st of DEC that

i was approved. I guess because they had to dig it out of the pile they just though to process while they had it in there hands. What ever the reason why im glad they did it took 128 day in vermont. GHood luck to everyone else on there journey.

Defo - we sent a letter to our congressman and didn't get so much as a generic automated response back let alone an approval... Would defo recommend anyone who filed in May/June/July/early August to call their congressman as it seems to be working for mid-August filers!! Should bring joy to many!!

I'm not sure but I think it may have something to do with having a Philippino beneficiary. There have been alot of recent approvals for them recently. On the 17th we had like 5 people approved from the Philippines. This is from what I see of people posting in threads. Several have PM'd me. Almost done of them seem to have entered a timeline thou so there is no record on VJ..

There are always an inordinate number of Philippine submissions as well, so it should be expected there will always be a lot of Philippine approvals.

I don't think it was nescicary to call your congressman yet. Leave it for those who really need it, like April, May and June filers.

I don't think so.

Just because ones are within the time frame doesn't mean you HAVE to accept everything they want you too like a mule.

Six months is too much and it's not fair, if there's no complain it's less likely that the kind of service will ever get better but more likely worst.

It never hurts, no matter what the position is to receive better treatment.
