Hi All,

It's been just over 6months since we filed our I-129F, and now my fiancee has received the Packet#3. After a mess of corrections we had to make last minute to the forms while they were at the Vermont Center, to asking our Congressman's office for help, we're very excited!!!

Any tips on filling out the forms and prepping for the interview? She'll be at the US Embassy in Tokyo. We already had a bad experience there, as she was denied a Tourist Visa :crying: while the I-129F was pending approval.

Thanks!

Click on the Guides tab above and read what the necessary docs are to send. You'll need to get the I-134 notarized and have all the supporting documentation to send along with it. Then if you click on embassy info, people have written reviews on their experiences at the embassy and a bit about what to expect. It's not uncommon for a visa to be denied during this process as it's difficult to prove that the beneficiary would be returning to their home country and not staying to try and bypass the process.

Good Luck!

Hi, Sorry, didn't fully understand your response regarding proving the beneficiary will return to their home country, as my fiancee is moving to the US...still confused, but don't worry about it. We are prepping all the info (notarized I-134 already done, gathered the "actual" evidence from the I-129F application, etc...). Will review the guide tabs. Thanks for your help!
