I-130 Process in China

I have read all the guides, and I participate both here and in candleforlove forums.

However, I can not get a definitive answer to what happens after NVC on a pure I-130 visa.

It seems nearly everyone does k1 or k3, so all the guides and help from people have this mixed into their explanation.

Even the guanzhou consulate site shows a "p3" process and paperwork, but all of the p3 paperwork has already been done at NVC for a pure I-130 petition/application.

I can not see any p3 documents that have not already been sent to NVC.

My question is, once NVC ships my file to Guanzhou will my wife only see the p4 packet and have interview scheduled ?

If some one could tell me step by step what to expect from Guanzhou for a I-130 application I would be very thankful.

Here is everything that is done at the NVC prior to being sent to the embassy =):

Thanks, I know.

I just sent in my final document (DS-230) TO NVC. I followed the flowchart, and made it thru the NVC process in about 2 months. Good time I think.

My question is what is next.

What is the I-130 process in China AFTER embassy receives it?

You got it right. She'll see the P4 with the invitation letter and documents she'll need for the medical and vaccinations. From case complete to P4 should be about 3 to 4 months with around 60 days notice for interview. I'd look at a May or June interview if case is complete by early January.

Add another 4 weeks at least, if no mistakes to be really done w/ NVC. DS230 needs to be reviewed and if that is done along along w/I864, you get message "Case Complete and wait 8 more weeks for further instructions". Then you will get a message of case transfer to Guangzhou (NVC out) then you are really done w/ NVC process.
