Tomorrow we leave and we'll stay in a hotel/resort & spa until the 26th, just me and my husband. For New Year, we'll be in Yosemite. Tonight is packing time. This trip is my Christmas gift to my husband and to my self (for working hard).

Happy holidays to you & your family.

A lot of traveling! We are driving 10-12 hours from DC to Montreal and spending a few days with his family. Then driving 2-3 hours down to visit my Mom in Vermont and spend a few days with my family. Then driving 8 or so hours down to my best friend in NJ to spend a few days with her and her fiance. May even see an Islander game, w00t!. Then finally driving another 8 or so hours back to DC.

Understandably, we are coming home a day or two before we have to go back to work to give us some recuperation time! :D

Sounds delicious. I'm sure that baby will enjoy the yummy foods.

BTW...I think we've settled on a name...Joshua (no more Ozzy) :D

How about Joshua Gupt Fancypants?

Joshua Aidan Fancypants. Aidan is a family name that my Dad suggested.

Love the name, Steven! BTW, I believe I suggested Aidan in that other thread before. I rock!

Anyhoo, for Christmas Eve we go to my great-aunt and uncle's house - there are usually about 20-25 of us. We have lobsters and my aunt's awesome clam chowder and jingle bell martinis (yay!). My cousin always dresses up as Santa brings the kids their presents.

Christmas day we're driving down to CT to my dad's house. Not sure what the plans are, but I'm sure it will involve beef and Wii.

Going to Church, my mom's, and then a stop and one friend's house and on to another. It will be a very long day.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

And a Merry Christmas to you, Uncle Ebenezer!

Alcohol!

Not sure exactly, tastes like vodka and peppermint schnapps, I guess. Red and green cherries on the bottom, and a mini candy cane on the rim. Very festive!
