My husband and I have all of these extenuating circumstances that are making this process very complicated and are making me crazy :wacko:

Firstly, it was smooth sailing (or should I say crawling) to get to this point of having an approved K3 and filing for AOS and EAD. Then the first hitch. My husband is self employed and his accountant creatively gave him so many business deductions and included many business expenses to offset his personal income that his tax return showed a -9000 for personal income! aha! USCIS was not happy about that. We don't own real estate and his primary asset is himself as he build houses. He does own tools and such but I don't think we can prove he owns 3 or 5 times the poverty limit in assets.

Now, I work for an airline and even though my K3 is approved and technically I've moved to the US, I return to Canada to work. I can prove current employment and income over the poverty limit, income tax return and pay stubs etc etc....but all inside CANADA not the US.

Does anyone know for sure whether USCIS will even consider my income? I technically contribute to our household though I make my income outside the country. One thing I can't prove is income will continue in the US. The problem, see, is that I can't transfer to the US without the EAD and SSN.... and I can't apparently get my EAD until I can prove my job will continue in the US! AHHHH.

I just wonder if anyone tried to include the immigrant's income made outside the country.

thanks for letting me vent

I suggest you have hubby get a co-sponsor. It's not only he that has to sponsor you it can be someone else or ever more than one person.

Good luck
