Im thinking about my whole time dealing with these USCIS representatives and the immigration officers via phone and the last time I had contacted 2 immigration officers and i say this without offence but an asian immigration officer was an immigrant herself and i couldnt understand her accent and she didnt fully understand what i was saying to her. Another african immigraiton officer was having a meal on the phone and she was so rude she asked me to spell my first and last name like 5 times each and she wasnt even trying to write it down. I dont even want to begin to talk about how much time she wasted asking my WAC number again and again and again... :wacko:

waiting for a spouse is a delicate and personal matter and they seem to just want to get people off the phone quickly and tell us just about anything. After 6 months they said wait another 3 months until i pushed and pushed and got rude myself. An immigration officer 4 months ago sat and calculated the time with me and said my husband would be here by November. I dont think its right giving false hopes we should be able to get the truth and if its a long wait some of us can actually be with our spouses waiting to come together I could have taken online courses from my university overseas. I feel bad for people filing after me because USCIS service is getting worse and worse.

Anybody thinking about petitioning to make USCIS a better organization? I really want to contact a professional to put new rules for uscis. They should be able to give one on one counseling about their personal timelines not even asking for a guarenteed timeline but a brief HONEST estimate to people losing their minds. everyone has to make money but if youre going to work at a place dealing with delicate matters youre going to have to care. Anybody else have any views on this?

I had called about our returned case. It talked to an immigration officer, and their comment to me as I voiced my frustration over the fact that they couldn't give me a straight forward honest answer to when we were going to have our case readjudicated was "That's the price you pay for marrying a foreigner". I was pretty pissed to say the least.

A while back they had asked people in general to submit their suggestions on how to improve the USCIS process. I did submit my suggestion, and it revolved quite a bit about the call center, and their lack of knowledge and their unwillingness to give us correct answers. I don't know if it will do any good, but it was worth a shot.

I did contact the ombudsman and mentioned what the officer had said to me. I could tell they weren't too happy about it. I can't tell you however if anything was done about it because my main reason for the contact was to resolve an issue, and this was mentioned as a side note.

So who would you propose you would send a complaint to on this?

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

Thats what I said! But I don't think I used the word "#######". :blink::angry:

OMG - that is unacceptable and totally out of line.........visine in the eggnog for that one too!!!

Sorry to hear it, so very sad to see what is going on and there are things that you can try to do to make a change as alot of us are, maybe not for us, but for the next "so called generation" of Visa Journey people. All we can do is try for at least we can say we did our best. Does not mean that we win or lose, but as the saying goes " It is how you play the game" and that would be spot on.

Sod em...there I said it :angry:

When something goes wrong remember this saying "WHEN MAN PLANS, GOD LAUGHS"
