Just an FYI for the people that have not called in the last few days but probably already know this tidbit..

USCIS will be closed both Monday and Tuesday for the holidays. Any appointments that were scheduled for the 24th will be recscheduled.

p.s nothing in system either for hubbie and me as of today, oh well maybe new years has hope

Yeah, their "official" holiday is Christmas day only. They got Christmas Eve by Executive Order from Pres Bush. (searching the 2008 ticket for a workaholic, a$$-kicking president who demands productive gvmt employees)

Hey Susie I noticed that you sent your I-129F the same day as I130. Have you not gotten an NOA1 on the I129F also? Thats odd if so, cause I see that other people who did this got an NOA1 quick on the 129 even thought the 130 never got anything for months.

Hey Susie I noticed that you sent your I-129F the same day as I130. Have you not gotten an NOA1 on the I129F also? Thats odd if so, cause I see that other people who did this got an NOA1 quick on the 129 even thought the 130 never got anything for months.

Your right hun, there are a few of us that did this, and nothing on either. Spoke with lawyer today, thank god she answers in a heartbeat, got her trained now, but no nothing, not in system called USCIS as of 3pm my time so maybe next year early......growling

Wow! well that sure does suck! Lets you see just how unorganized the USCIS has become. I have read so many VJ'ers getting their 129 to process and not the 130 when they sent them together, and here you are still waiting for both! With no cashed check either right?

I'm really starting to get scared that things are WAAAAYYY out of control over there and God only knows what is really needed to improve the system. Hopefully they all come back from the holidays with a new found anchor ready to hit the pavement hard!

Agree hun, totally...maybe with President Bush giving them an extra holiday their moral will be lifted. To be really honest with you, I dont blame them at all. They are doing what they can with the tools given to them, as far as I have experienced, tis the government that I find fault with in this whole charade.

Six months on December 25th will be last time i saw hubbie, such a great guy lets me rant and rave and yet is so balanced. I wake up every morning alive and healthy just lonley for him, so I guess no wait I know I am blessed for that major factor in life/ I will continue to hold on because he is so worth it as and to find a gem, sometimes you just have to keep digging and digging but sooner or later ya find them - priceless -
